# Footer group

The **footer** is the block at the bottom of every page of your store: the same area on the home page, product pages, collection pages, and so on. Because it’s shared everywhere, you set it up once: links, newsletter signup, payment icons, and any other content you want at the bottom of the screen. Changing the footer in the theme editor updates it on all pages at once.

### What is the “Footer group”?

In the theme, the footer is treated as one **group**: a single footer that appears on every page. You don’t have several different footers to manage, just one. Whatever you change there (text, images, menus, colors, layout) will show at the bottom of every page of your store.

### How to change the footer

1. Go to **Online Store > Themes > Customize**.
2. Click the footer area in the preview, or open **Sections** in the left panel and select **Footer**.
3. Change the section settings and blocks (add or remove blocks, edit text, choose images, adjust colors).
4. Preview your store, then click **Save**.

### Tips

* Use the same footer to keep navigation and trust elements (e.g. payment icons, policy links) consistent across the whole store.
* Reorder blocks by dragging them in the left panel to change the layout (e.g. brand on the left, menus on the right).
* Any change you make in **Footer** applies everywhere the footer appears; no need to edit each page.
