# License Activation

### Retrieve your License

After purchasing your theme, you will receive an email containing your Theme file and your License.\

You can also retrieve them in your customer account by clicking “View Order.”

Your license key is sent immediately after payment confirmation. If you don't receive the email within 5 minutes, check your spam folder. If it's still missing, contact us at <support@ariesvisionlab.com> with your order number.

### Retrieve your shop Permanent link

#### You must use your shop’s **permanent** URL. If you use the wrong URL, activation will fail.

**What is a Shopify shop’s permanent URL?**\
\
It is the address assigned by Shopify when you created your shop. It always includes the `myshopify.com` part of the address. It looks like this: `my-shop-name.myshopify.com`\
It never changes, even if you change the domain name visible to customers.\
\
**Example:**\
You create a shop called `my-shop-name` → Shopify assigns it the address `my-shop-name.myshopify.com`\
You connect a custom domain: customers access your shop via `custom-domain.com`\
Later, you change your domain: customers now go via `new-custom-domain.com`\
In all cases, your permanent URL remains `my-shop-name.myshopify.com`, it never changes.\
\
**How do you find your permanent URL?**

1. **You have a custom domain**:
   1. Log in to your Shopify admin.
   2. Look at your browser’s address bar: you’ll see an address like `https://admin.shopify.com/store/my-shop-name`. The part after `/store/` is your permanent ID, so your permanent URL is `my-shop-name.myshopify.com`.<br>
2. **You don’t have a custom domain yet**:\
   The URL displayed in your browser’s address bar when you visit your shop is your permanent URL: `my-shop-name.myshopify.com` &#x20;

### Activate your license

1. Go to our License activation page.\
   \ <a href="https://www.ariesvisionlab.com/activate" class="button primary">Activation Page</a><br>
2. Enter your **license number** and your store **permanent link**.

Activation is instant. Once confirmed, you can install and use the theme immediately.

### Clear the License Warning

If you have already installed the theme and see a message stating that the licence is invalid, follow these steps:<br>

1. Go to your theme editor.
2. Click on "View Site Information" button, next to the url adress.
3. Click on "Cookies and site data".

5. Click on "Manage on-device site data".

7. Under "Data from embedded sites", click on the trash icon next to your shop url. Then click on "Done".

9. Refresh the page. The message ‘No active licence’ should now disappear.<br>
