# Social icons

{% hint style="info" %}
**How to set it up**

* Go to **Online Store** > **Themes** > **Customize**.
* Select a section that supports this block (see list below).
* Click **Add block** > **Social icons**.
* Toggle the platforms you want to display, preview, then click **Save**.
  {% endhint %}

The social icons block displays links to your store's social media accounts. Each platform can be individually toggled on or off. The social account URLs are pulled from your theme settings (**Theme settings** > **Social media**).

Icons have a subtle hover effect: when hovering over the group, non-hovered icons fade to 60% opacity, drawing attention to the one being pointed at.

#### Settings

Each platform has a toggle to show or hide it:

* **Facebook**
* **Instagram**
* **YouTube**
* **TikTok**
* **X (Twitter)**
* **Pinterest**
* **Snapchat**
* **Tumblr**
* **Vimeo**

A platform's icon only appears if its toggle is enabled **and** its URL is filled in under **Theme settings** > **Social media**.

#### Available in

* Image row

#### Tips

Only enable the platforms where your brand is actually active — showing empty or inactive social accounts can hurt credibility. Make sure your social media URLs are filled in under Theme settings before adding this block.
