# Blog Posts

The Blog Posts section displays a selection of articles from your blog in an attractive grid or slider layout. This section helps you showcase your latest blog content, news, or articles directly on your homepage or other pages, making it easy for visitors to discover and read your content.

### Settings

#### Content

* **Articles**: Hand-pick specific articles to display instead of pulling the latest posts from a blog. You can select up to 4 articles from any blog. When articles are manually selected, they take priority over the blog picker, and the "View all" button is automatically hidden (since the articles may come from different blogs).
* **Blog**: Fallback — when no articles are manually selected, the section displays the latest posts from the chosen blog (unchanged behavior).

#### **Heading**

* **Heading**: Enter a title for this section, such as "Latest News" or "From Our Blog". Leave blank to hide the heading.
* **Heading size**: Choose how large the heading appears, from XS (extra small) to 2XL (extra extra large).
* **Underline**: When enabled, adds a decorative underline beneath the heading.
* **Header text position**: Controls where the heading appears horizontally - left, center, or right.

#### Layout

* **Post count**: Set how many blog posts to display (between 2 and 4 posts).
* **Columns**: Choose how many columns of posts appear on desktop screens (1 to 4 columns).
* **Full width**: When enabled, the section stretches across the entire width of the page instead of being contained within the standard page width.
* **Show progress bar**: When enabled, displays a progress indicator on mobile devices to show how far through the slider you've scrolled.
* **Show "View all" button**: When enabled, displays a button that links to your full blog page. This only appears if your blog has more posts than what's shown in this section.
* **"View all" style**: Choose how the "View all" button appears - as a text link, outline button, solid button, or transparent button.
* **Color scheme**: Select a color scheme for the section background and text. Note that blog card colors are controlled in your theme settings.

#### Blog card

* **Featured image**: When enabled, displays the article's featured image on each blog post card.
* **Date**: When enabled, shows the publication date on each blog post card.
* **Author**: When enabled, displays the author's name on each blog post card.
* **Tags**: When enabled, shows the tags associated with each blog post.
* **Excerpt**: When enabled, displays a short preview text from each blog post.

#### Padding

* **Top**: Adjust the spacing above the section (0 to 400 pixels).
* **Bottom**: Adjust the spacing below the section (0 to 400 pixels

### Tips

* Use 2-3 posts for a focused showcase, or 4 posts for a more comprehensive preview of your blog content.
* Enable the "View all" button to encourage visitors to explore more of your blog content.
* Show excerpts to give readers a preview of what each article is about, helping them decide which posts to read.
* You can now hand-pick specific articles using the article picker — this is great for curating a selection of your best posts from different blogs. If no articles are selected, the section falls back to showing the latest posts from the blog you choose.
