# Countdown banner

**Countdown banner** is a **preset** of the [**Media banner**](/docs/theme-sections-by-category/banners/media-banner.md) section.

When you add **Countdown banner** in the theme editor, you are adding the Media banner section with a ready-made setup: caption, countdown block, and button. All settings and blocks are the same as the Media banner section; only the starting configuration differs.

### How to set it up

1. Go to **Online Store** > **Themes** > **Customize**.
2. Open **Sections** > **Countdown Banner**
3. Make your changes, preview live, then click **Save**.
