# Back to top

The Back to top button lets shoppers quickly return to the top of long pages. This improves navigation and reduces scrolling effort, especially on mobile.

#### How to set it up

* Go to **Online Store** > **Themes** > **Customize**.
* Open **Theme settings** > **Back to top button**.
* Make your changes, preview live, then click **Save**.

### Settings

* **Enable back to top button**: Turns the button on or off. Recommended for long pages.
* **Scroll offset**: Sets how far a visitor must scroll before the button appears. Higher values show it later.
* **Button style**: Choose the button style (Solid, Outline, Transparent or Link style).
* [**Color scheme**](/docs/theme-settings/colors.md#schemes): Chooses the button’s colors. Pick a scheme with strong contrast for readability.

### **Tips**

* Start with a Scroll offset around 800–1200 px so it doesn’t appear too early.
* Use a Color scheme that stands out over your page background.
* Match Border radius to your buttons and cards for a consistent look.
