# Content containers

Content containers style the boxes that hold text and buttons in key sections. Clean containers improve readability and make important messages stand out.

#### How to set it up

* Go to **Online Store** > **Themes** > **Customize**.
* Open **Theme settings** > **Content containers**.
* Make your changes, preview live, then click **Save**.

### Settings

#### Border

* **Thickness**: Controls how bold the container border appears. Thicker borders draw more attention; thinner looks cleaner.
* **Corner radius**: Rounds the container corners. Larger radius feels softer; zero is sharp and modern.

#### Background

* **Background opacity**: Sets how solid the container background is. Higher values increase contrast and readability.
* **Background blur**: Blurs what’s behind the container. Useful when text sits on busy images.

Note: These settings affect the background of content containers in Slideshow, Image Banner, and Countdown Timer sections.

### **Tips**

* For text over photos, increase Background opacity or add a small Background blur to boost contrast.
* Keep Corner radius consistent with your buttons and cards for a unified look.
* Use a light Thickness unless you need strong emphasis.
