# Inputs

Inputs control the look of text fields, dropdowns, and other form elements. Clear, readable inputs make it easier for customers to type, select, and complete checkout steps.

#### How to set it up

* Go to **Online Store** > **Themes** > **Customize**.
* Open **Theme settings** > **Inputs**.
* Make your changes, preview live, then click **Save**.
  {% endhint %}

### Settings

* **Font type**: Uses your Body or Heading font for input text. Choose for readability and consistency.

#### Border

* **Border style**: Chooses how inputs are framed: Around (full border) or Underlined (single bottom line). Affects clarity and visual weight.
* **Thickness**: Sets how bold the border appears. Thicker borders stand out more; thinner looks lighter.
* **Corner radius**: Rounds the input corners. Squared feels sharp and modern; rounded feels friendly.

### **Tips**

* Use Underlined style for minimal designs, Around for clearer boundaries on busy backgrounds.
* Keep Thickness and Corner radius consistent with your button and card styles.
